Crayon Resist Watercolor Name Labels * ages 2+

Crayon Resist Watercolor Name Labels

Going back to school means getting all those school supplies ready and labeling everything with your child’s name. Well we came up with a fun way to make beautiful name labels that kids will be excited to add tot their supplies! Crayon Resist Watercolor Name Labels would also work well for name tags during the first weeks of school when everyone is learning names!

WHAT TO DO:

1. Start by writing the child’s name imusing white crayon on each sticker label. I gave each child a whole page of labels so they could focus on painting the entire page and then they had a lot of name labels in the end.

2. Give the child the blank page and ask hem to start painting. The boys were amazed that once they started painting their names magically appeared on all the labels! (Caution, don’t let the labels get too wet or the results aren’t as crisp.)

3. Once the painting is complete and the page is fully covered in paint, allow it to dry for about 10 Minutes.

4. Once the paint is dry (or if you use markers it will be dry immediately), have the child peel off the labels and place them on their school supplies or shirts!
