Halloween Gelatin Excavation Activity

Halloween Gelatin Excavation Activity 🎃 ages 3+ 🎃 Here’s the perfect sensory and fine motor activity that’s just the right amount of creepy and fun! My boys just loved removing all the Spooky Halloween gummy candies from the orange gelatin.

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR HALLOWEEN GELATIN EXCAVATION ACTICITY: (affiliate links)

* Orange Gelatin

* Halloween gummy candies (We used worms, snakes, eyeballs and skulls.)

* Glass pan

* Tongs or kids chopsticks

WHAT TO DO:

1. Follow the directions on the orange gelatin box to prepare the gelatin.

2. Before the gelatin hardens add in the gummy candies.

3. Please mixture in the refrigerator to set as directed on the gelatin box.

4. Once the mixture has hardened, the excavation can begin.

5 Have each child take a turn removing one of the gummy candies with the tongs and placing in a bowl. I encouraged the kids to only use the tongs so the gelatin remained germ-free and could be eaten at the end.
