Delicious Density Experiment

- white grape juice (40g sugar) - mango lemonade juice (25g sugar) - cranberry juice (9g sugar) - 4 glasses - dropper

Materials Needed:

Pour the 3 different juices in separate glasses.  Then use a dropper to add the white grape juice to the empty glass first.

Step 1

Next add the mango lemonade juice to the glass (this is the mid-sugar level juice).

Step 2

Finally use the dropper to add the cranberry juice (lowest sugar content juice) to the mixture.

Step 3

Notice how the layers stay separate based on the sugar content of each juice. Finally, try drinking the juice! You can use different juices as long as they have various sugar contents.

If the mixture is too sour to drink (cranberry juice will be on top), then mix the juices and try again!
