– Baking soda – Water – Mixing bowl – Red food coloring – Silicone cupcake molds – Googly eyes – Permanent marker – White vinegar – Dropper or pipette
Mix baking soda with just enough water so that it makes a wet paste. Add some red food coloring and mix to make the love bugs red. Pour the mixture into cupcake molds.
Add googly eyes (they will float on top) and put them in the freezer. Once frozen, use a marker to draw mouths on the love bugs.
Use the dropper to add vinegar to the love bug and watch it fizz and melt away.
