- String - Food coloring or liquid watercolors * Sketch pad * Small spoon * Scissors
Dip a 12 inch piece of string into food coloring until it is completely immersed. Then place the string on paper, close the book, press your hand on the book and remove the string.
Repeat with various different colors to create beautiful patterns.
Keep adding colors until you're happy with the end result. You'll find you have 2 mirror image paintings!
