Underwater Fireworks Science Experiment
– Glass vase or jar – Water – Vegetable Oil – Food Coloring – Shallow plate – Fork
Materials Needed:
Start with a shallow plate with vegetable oil in it. Then add drops of food coloring in various colors.
Step 1
Use a fork to mix the drops of colors and break them into smaller drops.
Step 2
Pour the oil/food coloring mixture into a vase of water.
Step 3
Watch the streams of colorful "firewarks" make their way into the water.
