Apple Tree Finger Painting * ages 3-5

Apple Tree Finger Painting

Apple Tree Finger Painting 🍎 ages 3-5 🍏 Now that Fall is here and the kids are back in school, I love finding creative ways to keep them learning at home as well. Oliver loves anything that involves painting and getting messy so i knew he would love Apple Tree Finger Painting. This activity is great because it teaches counting, number identification all while getting creative and a little messy! Perfect for an apple-themed week at school!  👍🏻😀

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR APPLE TREE FINGER PAINTING: (affiliate links)

* Finger paints

* Black marker

* White paper (We used watercolor paper as it’s a little thicker than normal writing paper, but any would do.)

Check out Oliver doing this activity in the below video:

WHAT TO DO:

1. Start by drawing some tree outlines using black marker.

2. Then write a number in each tree.

3. Ask the child to add the correct number of apples to each tree.

4. Give them some red finger paint and let them get to work!

Oliver loved this activity so much he asked for more finger paints so he could add the sky, sunshine and some rain to finish the painting. I happily obliged and it came out great! Mission accomplished!
