Easter Egg Number Match * ages 2 – 5

Easter is such a fun time of year for my kids! I love using those adorable, plastic Easter eggs for all kinds of fun learning activities! The Easter Egg Number Match is a fun matching activity that’s great for learning numbers (or shapes or colors) and also an excellent fine motor exercise!

MATERIALS NEEDED:

HOW TO PLAY:

1. Take some plastic Easter eggs, write a number on the top half and the matching number of dots on the bottom half using permanent marker. (We used washable marker and they started to rub off.)

2. Then ask your child to find the matching eggs. Because Alexander is only 3, he doesn’t know all his numbers yet but since the eggs also matched by color it helped him to figure out the correct answer.

3. Then once he identified the correct set he put the egg together which is great for building his fine motor skills!
