Exploring Inertia with Checkers * age 6-10

Exploring Inertia with Checkers 💡age 6-10 💡 For this experiment you need about 10 checkers. Build a stack of checkers and place the last one about an inch away from the stack. Give the checker a strong flick and when it hits the stack the bottom checker should fly out of the stack while leaving the others in place. This occurs because of inertia and the concept that an object at rest tends to stay at rest. Pretty cool! 👍🏻
