Slime Bubbles * ages 4+

Slime Bubbles 💡 ages 4+ 💡 Today we made our favorite slime recipe and then I gave the boys some straws and let them blow bubbles in the slime. They had the best time and didn’t even realize they were developing their oral motor skills!

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE SLIME BUBBLES: (affiliate links):

HOW TO MAKE SLIME BUBBLES:

  1. Start by mixing the glue (1/2 cup) and baking soda (1/2 tsp) and food coloring (if you want your slime to be a specific color).
  2. Mix these ingredients until full mixed and color is solid.
  3. Then add eye contact solution (we used Target Up & Up brand Multi-Purpose solution). We used about 2 TBSP of contact solution, but just keep adding until the slime stops sticking to the side of the bowl.
  4. Finally we added a few drops of body oil (any kind of oil will do). The oil is not necessary, but helps keep the slime from sticking to your hands. You should now be able to stretch and play with the slime.
  5. To make bubbles, lay the slime flat on a table or flat surface, insert a straw and blow.  The boys were even able to make double or triple bubbles after trying for a while.

  1. Hello! What type of glue did you use?

    1. We used Lakeshore white school glue but I think any brand of white school glue should work.
