Monster Bug Painting * age 4-8

We discovered this simple monster bug painting technique while playing with water, food coloring and pipettes. The boys had the BEST time creating all these fun monster bugs with the fun process art technique!

Monster Bug Painting - Process Art for Kids

MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):

WHAT TO DO:

  1. Start by placing a large drop of water on the paper
  2. Then add one drop of food coloring.
  3. Next, take the pipettes and draw the water from the drop in long sweeps.
  4. Let the painting dry overnight then use a marker to add eyes and mouth to complete the monster bugs. So cool!!
