Craft Sticks & Tape Toddler Activity

Keeping toddlers entertained can be a challenging task, but we have the perfect solution! Craft Sticks & Tape Toddler Activity is a perfect activity for little ones under 3 to develop fine motor skills, color recognition and problem solving.

MATERIALS NEEDED: (affiliate links)

Colored Craft Sticks

Painters Tape

To set this activity up, simply tape the craft sticks to a tray with two pieces of painters tape.  I like painters tape because it comes off easier than masking tape. Once the sticks are taped down, let your toddler get to work peeling the tape off the tray and lifting the sticks. This activity is great for building fine motor skills and lots of fun for them too! You can also ask them to pick a certain color stick to emphasize colors or tape this sticks down in various shapes, letters or numbers for additional learning.

Note:  Children should be past the mouthing stage before attempting this activity and adult supervision is recommended.
