Pool Noodle Painting * ages 4+

Pool Noodle Painting 🖌 ages 4+ 🖌 We are crazy about pool noodles! There are just so many fun ways to use them outside of the pool. Today we decided to make them into gigantic paintbrushes and had a blast creating works of art! Nate went for a more abstract painting while Dylan created a nature scene. 👍🏻

MATERIALS NEEDED (affiliate links):

Pool Noodles

Easel Paper

Rocks

Washable Tempura Paint

WHAT TO DO:

1. Start by securing two long sheets of easel paper flat with several rocks at the corners and along the outside.

2. Then add paint to large bowls or a plastic container with large divided areas.

3. Finally dip the ends of the noodles in the paint and start painting.

You may want to have a bowl of water to rinse the end of the noodle when changing colors. My boys just mixed the paints instead of rinsing which gave the painting a multidimensional effect.

Who knew pool noodles made awesome paint brushes?!?!
